Principal's Bio

Grew up in Selma, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University with BS and MEd in Elementary Education.  Gained certification in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama.

Taught 9 years at Wrights Mill Road Elementary (Auburn City Schools).   Taught 18 years at Fairhope Elementary before becoming administrator at several schools on the Eastern Shore in Baldwin County.  Principal at Spanish Fort Elementary since July, 2005.

Family includes husband Jeff Comer, son Drew Comer (US Navy), and daughter Allison Comer (graduate of Huntingdon College, currently in seminary at Asbury in Kentucky).

Hobbies include needlework, singing, ringing handbells, and reading.
